Can Carlito break through with the babyface scene as crowded as it is on Raw?
Matt: God I hope so. I really think this guy has all the tools to become something. I always say there are three keys to success in wrestling: talent, gimmick and storyline. Carlito already has the first two. They just refuse to push him for whatever reason. First he had to deal with Cena, Hunter and HBK, which was bad enough. But now it seems that Jeff Hardy has surpassed him (and Jeff deserves it, he’s been working his ass of this year), but Carlito can do the things that Jeff can do in the ring, plus he’s more charismatic. Just give him a storyline that doesn’t involve him kissing divas and he’ll get mucho over. Leon: Doubtful. Especially with Cena, Hardy, Flair, Michaels, Triple H and other Raw faces above him. Frankly, I won’t shed any tears if he’s a midcarder for life. Carlito is not impressing me, and by the way he is stuck feuding with Masters (just like last year!), I imagine he isn’t impressing management either.
