Campers are able to go to camp store once a day and go in cabin groups. They are limited in the amount of sweets they are able to buy each time. We do not recommend having any more than 25 available for the camp store for a two week session. Can two friends be in the same cabin? Camp is for making new friends and practicing English. Being in the same cabin with a friend from home often prevents campers from experiencing improvements in English. Friends in the same cabin often isolate themselves from the rest of the group by either speaking their native language or staying in their “comfort zone” and not reaching out and making new friends. However, if you feel that your child will have a better experience with a friend, a request may be made in writing by the parents of both campers and the camp administration will consider the request.
