Can budgies Eat Cuttlebone? Or are they supposed to grind their beaks on it?
the cuttlebone is there to help budgies grind their beaks, as well as providing some grit so they can digest food. http://www.suite101.com/article.cfm/pets… it is also used as a supplemental source of calcium they may need. but some ppl say cuttlebone isn’t a good source of digestible calcium, but instead you should supply them with leafy greens for that.
