Best answer: phone them up and ask them. But yes should be fine since BT uses phoneline and VM uses cable thus they are different. (I actually have both on atm) Edit: just a little not about the drop in performance remark, as a VM customer on it’s lowest tarrif I paymore and get a lower speed (as well as speed throttling over certain LOW limits) But via my bt copperwire, I am with o2 and get double the speed on the lowest tariff (though this can not be improved) which is a 1/3 of the price of VM and has no throttling. Just because cable Can be faster doesn’t mean it will be.
