Can BRC coaches train me in amateur or professional boxing?
Yes, both. Our coaches have experience with amateur and professional boxers, and know the particulars of each sport. If your goal is competition, then our coaches will select training methods appropriate for your level of competition and your personal style. Do I have to join USA Boxing? Boxers wishing to spar and/or compete must register with USA Boxing each calendar year. Costs are $50/year. Applications are available at the gym. Personal checks are payable to “Southeastern Association.” Can I volunteer as a coach, referee, or judge? Yes! We welcome individuals who wish to contribute to the community by coaching or officiating. No experience necessary. We will teach you everything you need to know. All volunteers register with USA Boxing, through the gym.
