Can BPD be treated through Freudian psycho – analysis?

In my opinion, psychoanalysis (or psychodynamic analysis) is maybe philosophically or historically interesting but scientifically worthless, and should not be practised any more. The “talking cure” itself may be helpful to many people, but most of Freud’s concepts are bogus in the light of modern day. Instead, cognitive therapies and DBT seem to be the way to go.
