Can bogofilter be used in a multi-user environment?
Yes, it can. There are multiple, distinct strategies for doing this. The two extremes are: • Having a bogofilter administrator who maintains a global wordlist that everybody uses. • Having each user maintain his/her own wordlist. As a middle ground, the bogofilter administrator can create and maintain the global wordlists and each user can be given the choice of using the global wordlist or a private wordlist. An MDA, such as procmail, can be programmed to first apply the global wordlist (with a very stringent spam cutoff) and then (if necessary) apply the user’s wordlist.
