Yes they can. We have a recommended protocol sheet that we can e-mail or fax. We suggest a blanket warmer or warm water ( not boiling ) for heating, and for cooling a refrigerator or freezer will suffice. CAUTION!!! Do not allow direct skin contact with either extreme.
