Can blood typing be used to determine the paternity of a child?
Traditional ABO Blood typing is a very outdated technique for the determination of paternity however it may be possible to exclude a man as the possible father of a child using known blood types of both individuals. Blood typing is not conclusive proof of paternity if the blood types of a man and child matched.
