Can blind people cry?

0

I am legally blind… and yes I can cry. Most people can’t see due to something wrong within the eye itself or the nerves that connect to the eyes, not anything outside of the eyes (like the tear ducts and whatnot). There may be a few people who by some unfortunate accident had some of the nerves around the skin surrounding the eyes damaged and thus cannot “cry”. I know of one man who had his entire eye removed (due to damage from an accident) yet he was still able to cry from that eye. The link I provided may give more details on how your eyes work (including the tear ducts). Hope this helps.
