Can Bledsoe Play Point Guard For Clippers?
The Los Angeles Clippers made a draft day trade for Eric Bledsoe. They hope he will be their point guard of the future. However, Clipper’s management has concerns that bledsoe’s role playing point guard behind John Wall leaves him lacking the experience he needs for the NBA. “I knew what I was getting myself into when I signed for Kentucky because John Wall is a terrific ball player. I wasn’t nervous, i knew what i could do,” he said. In a press conference Bledsoe said that he knew he would be playing second behind wall when he signed with Kentucky. Bledsoe said playing on the wing was a big adjustment but by the end of the season he learned how to move off the ball better and get more of his teammates involved. He still prefers to play point guard and is taking advice from his new teammate with the Clippers, Baron Davis, to help improve his game.
