Can Blackboard courses be deleted?

Yes. Courses are deleted from Blackboard via the Blackboard Course Creation system. However, only the staff member who originally created the Blackboard course can edit or delete it. • Log into the Blackboard Course Creation system • From the menu at the left, select ‘Previously created courses’ • Click the ‘edit’ link to the right of the relevant course • Click the ‘Delete course’ button at the bottom of the page • Select the ‘Yes’ radio button and click ‘Delete course’ Once a course has been deleted, it will no longer display in the Blackboard Course Creation system and Blackboard.
