Can BioShield-Radiation® be administered to children?
Growing children have rapidly growing cells that are much more susceptible to genetic damage when exposed to ionizing radiation than the slower growing cells of adults. Accordingly, biologic cellular protection is of significant importance in children. Premier Micronutrient Corporation has recently developed a formulation of BioShield-Radiation® that is safe and effective for children ages 5 – 18. This is expected to be available by the close of 2009.
