Can BBA Scholars take business classes early?
A6. Business Scholars can take BLI 1110 – BBA Scholars Seminar during their first year. With the exception of this course, being a Business Scholar does not mean that you should take business classes early. There are many reasons not to accelerate the business course sequence. First, many business classes have pre-requisites that you will take during your first two years. Accelerating the business class sequence also means you may not be able to take the sophomore level business honors courses, which are offered in sequence beginning in the fall of the sophomore year. This might impact your application to the BBA Honors Program.
