Men who are battered should NEVER feel embarrassed and the first place they should head is Mental Health and they will put them in the right direction for help. Battered men need to be counseled so they will not fall into that bad pit again of picking a woman that ‘rules the roost’ and has respect for him. Men can be gentle and kind and that doesn’t give ANY woman the right to take advantage of him in this manner.
