Can bad weather affect my DirecTV reception?

0

Severe weather conditions can affect satellite television reception. Heavy rains can cause your receiver to display a “seaching for satellite signal.” Note of course that this will always occur during the most intense part of a movie or sporting event but usually passes by the time the big game is over.

Yes bad weather like snow or heavy rains will cause you to lose reception. As I suspect you probaly live in a hole; therefore you need great reception so you can watch the weather, to warn you of possible flooding or being trapped in by the snow. Directv is just not reliable enough for a rabbit.
