Can Backup Professional be used to backup a network consisting of only three Windows 98 machines?

No, Backup Professional requires a server. At the time of this writing we support nine server platforms. NT will be coming in the near future. Windows 95/98 is not one of the servers. The backup model used by Backup Professional is that of a client server and there are no current plans to support Win95 or Win98 being used as a server. However, there are plans underway to support Windows 2000 as a server, so please check our server list frequently.
