Can Aspirin trigger abnormal heartbeats?
Hello! You haven’t told me if your mother takes aspirin as prevention or she suffers from some kind of cardiovascular disease or any other chronic disease. Abnormal heartbeats and heart skipping can sometimes happen without any serious reason. But is she feels dizziness or shortness of breath she should visit her doctor immediately. Aspirin usually causes gastrointestinal problems and I have never heard that it causes abnormal heartbeats. In any case if this repeats too often your mother has to visit her doctor.
