Can ASF1400 gas flow sensors also be used in fast pulsing flow conditions?
The ASF1400 gas flow sensor first integrates the sensor signal at 142 ms and then linearization and temperature compensation occur. The accuracy of the linearisation therefore can be affected by fast changing flow conditions. For such applications Sensirion recommends using the ASF1430 high speed gas flow sensor, which integrates the sensor signal at only 5 ms before linearization.
