Can ARTISTA® be fused with OPALIKA® or IMERA®?
Fusing with OPALIKA® (White Flashed Opal Glass) is possible because the clear basic glass is quite similar to the clear ARTISTA®. However, there are a few things to be taken into consideration. The situation is more difficult with IMERA®. Whereas we guarantee, of course, compatibility for ARTISTA®, this is not the case with IMERA®. Due to the manufacturing-related changes in products inside the melting tanks, we pay the most attention to complying with transmission and color with IMERA. Linear expansion and viscosity may occasionally match that of ARTISTA, but not necessarily.
