Can Armstrongs Series 4030 pump be installed in a booster system?
Yes, Armstrong 4030 series pumps can be supplied with an Armstrong 6616, 6626 or 6636 booster package. However, this is very rarely done because of the fact that it necessitates the installation of a base mounted pump on a booster system skid which results in a booster package that is much higher and longer than a comparably sized package using 4280 series pumps. Most prefer the much smaller footprint size and lower cost of a 6615, 6625 or 6635 booster package with 4280 pumps.
