Can ArcView geocode from Lat/Long numbers in a dbf file coming from another application?
Yes, ArcView can locate features using a dbase file containing latitude and longitude for a location. This can be performed using an ArcView event theme. ArcView will accept text and dbf files for geocoding input. We also have developed a custom program that will accept latitude/longitude values and pinpoint them on the display screen.
