Can architecture be a money making career in near future?

0

You can make money at architecture if that is your priority. If you work at a large corporate firm they will pay you well, even at relatively lower level positions. When I was researching to apply to Cornell I heard once that SOM would pay Cornell graduates $50,000 starting out. In a situation like that you might sacrifice some opportunities for creative and meaningful work compared to the level of design involvement you could theoretically get at some smaller more creative firms, but there are possibilities for decent pay if you look for them.
