Can appendictis and a bowel obstruction cause infertility?
I am not a medic but I have been advised that appendicitis ops can be a cause of infertility. I am also the victim of a complicated appendix op. I don’t have kids but I had to have several investigations into odd ovulation pains that I kept getting in my twenties. It turned out that I had severe adhesions caused by the op and this could/may cause fertility problems. The surgeon offered to “tidy them up” but there was no guarantee that it would make any difference. Try Googling and see what comes up. Lots of girls have irregular periods but if you are concerned go and see your doc. Best of luck.
