Can AppDetectivePro integrate with other security products?
Yes. AppDetectivePro currently integrates with NMAP (http://www.nmap.org). AppDetectivePro can utilize scan data collected by other applications instead of searching the network for ports and IP addresses itself. AppDetectivePro supports NMAP generated files of both “normal” and “machine” formats. The data within these file types is parsed for IP addresses and ports. Once these values have been obtained, they are then used to search for “live” applications within your network. AppDetectivePro also supports other network “scanning” solutions as long as they abide by the conventions required by AppDetectivePro in order to proceed with using the information for Discovery, Penetration Testing, and Security Auditing.
