Can anything be done to stop email scammers from sending emails? Like legally?

It does suck. But here’s the thing, I think you should delete the email w/ the spam and open a new email for things important like friends, or things relative to your job; stuff that you actually care about. Keep the other email for things like buying stuff on the internet, or if sites ask you for your email to register for them. Usually, they are the ones who are irresponsible with your email. Also, the email spam that they send to you is not that important-well, usually. If you want the emails they send to you, make sure the emails are part of your “serious email address” and not the “unimportant mail” email adress. If you don’t want them, put it in your “unimportant mail” email adress. I get the british web lottery scam mail too, but I have a gmail account which puts the letter under scam. So if you want just one email, make it a gmail. But my suggestion is cancel the email w/ the lottery scam.
