Can anyone upload content to iTunes U?
Currently only University Units can post content, and all content on iTunes U is available to the public and it must be aimed at a campus audience as well as a general public audience. We are in the process of developing a private section of Missouri State on iTunes U, as well as an automated process for faculty to upload course content to their own section of iTunes U. Faculty will be able to start posting course content in the Fall 2009 semester.
For now, we are asking that all files be brought to CTL, 011 Library, for uploading to iTunes U. We are in the process of trying to develop an automated process for faculty and students to be able to upload content to the private section of iTunes U within your own courses. We are also working with the Library to create an automated upload process for students in the brand new Podcasting room on the 2nd floor near STAC. Public content may go through an approval process involving Marketing and Communication.
