Can anyone tell me where to purchase liquid nitrogen in small quantities in spore?
Liquid nitrogen can be very dangerous and can cause severe burns if spilled. Also, as it evaporates it can drive away oxygen. It must be carried in special highly insulated bottles and will evaporate over a period of time anyway. It can not be purchased as readily as drinking water, etc. but must be obtained from supply houses that likely maintain a supply in a much larger Dewar. If liquid oxygen is placed in a ‘dish’ and allowed to evaporate it may condense oxygen (looks light blue) which can be very explosive. Liquid nitrogen warrants very special handling. Many dermatologists use liquid nitrogen to freeze and remove skin lesions and if you are qualified they may identify their suppliers.
