Can anyone tell me the secret recipe to kentucky fried chicken?
I don’t know Col. Sander’s but here’s one I use: 1/2 cup flour 1 teaspoon paprika 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon onion powder 1 teaspooon oregano 1/2 teaspoon basil 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper Put the above mixture into a ziplock freezer bag, and mix thoroughly. Put chicken pieces into mixture and completely cover all pieces. Put 1/4 inch of olive oil in a fry pan. Heat oil and then put in chicken (shake off excess flour mixture prior to inserting into oil). Cook for five minutes uncovered, flip chicken, cook for another five minutes uncovered. Cover. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Remove cover, flip chicken and cook for five minutes to crisp it up, flipping once at 2 to 3 minutes.
