One of the original Cinderella sotries is depicted in the movie “ever after” It is a fantastic movie showing the true story of Cinderella Basically In the country of France, a young girl’s father marries evil Mother of two. The Father dies leaving the step mother with “cinderella” and her own two children. In the years that follow the step mother is cruel to cinderella – her name in the move is Danielle – she is forced to work as a slave. The other two children are treated well but one is singled out as the mothers favourite. The step-mother then schemes for her favourite daughter to marry the prince so the family can gain back their riches. While this scheming is taking place the king announces to the prince that he must marry the princess of Spain because of an international treaty between the two countries. The Prince refuses saying he cannot be expected to fall in love in an arranged marriage. The king than says that in 3 days he will hold a ball and unless the Prince can announce
