Can anyone tell me the diff. between German, French and mini lops?
There are 5 lops accepted by the American Rabbit Breeders Association: French Lop – Descendant of English, ears are not as long, they don’t drag on the ground and are firmer ears. English Lop – These may be the original breed of lops. They are huge rabbits with enormous ears, often 20 inches long and they are very floppy ears! Mini Lop – Also known as the German lop. Holland Lop – Smallest lop breed. Very compact rabbit, quite stout and the ears aren’t very long, just a little below chin. American Fuzzy Lop – A Holland shaped rabbit but with angora fur.
