Can anyone tell me any scary true stories OR urban legends?
Hmm…well, most true urban legends aren’t usually scary, but there are some that haven’t been disproven yet, and could be true if you believe in ghosts: 1. Cry Baby Bridge: if you park under a local bridge where a single mother killed herself, you can hear her screams. There are cry baby bridges all over the US – I think the first were in Illinois. 2. La Llorona: only in the south. She’s a Mexican peasant woman who drowned her children because she thought they were preventing her from remarrying (think Mexican Susan Smith) and then drowned herself in remorse. If you see a woman with a donkey face who stand near river banks and wails or calls to you, don’t go near her or she’ll drown you. 3. Bloody Mary Usually she is the Bloody Queen Mary (who persecuted protestants as witches). Go to your bathroom, shut out the lights, look in the mirror, then spin around 3 times while chanting ‘bloody mary, bloody mary, bloody mary’. If you look in the mirror, you can see her face.
