Can anyone suggest why Im experiencing spotting with the birth control pill?
Spotting is pretty normal on the pill. Unless you’re getting severe bleeding (worse than your heaviest period) I wouldn’t worry too much. Antibiotics mess with the effectiveness of the pill for sure, but your body could take a little longer to sort it out, everyone reacts differently. I wouldn’t be too worried now, but if it continues, I’d see your doctor in about a month. However, if you’re still that worried, it doesn’t hurt to see him/her now.
