Can anyone suggest me a project based on Newtons laws of motion?
Dear Shreyas You can have projects based on all three laws of motion by Newton:- 1) First law – you can create frictionless surfaces and move something to show that if no force is acting on the body, it will move with uniform motion or it will be at rest for ever. Depending upon the complexity and budget, you can add sensors to measure speed, time etc. 2) Second Law:- You can apply two or more forces on a body and measure their resultant. Also you can measure the motion created by the resultant force to show that the rate of change of momentum is proportional to the resultant force. 3) Third law:- You can have two bodies on a frictionless surface and you can arrange a spring to push one body by the other body. You can measure the forces on both the bodies to show that the action and reaction forces are equal in magnitude and opposite in direction. Hope you have something to start now.
Hi Shreyas D, Points on Isaac Newton stated three laws of motion. The first law deals with forces and changes in velocity. For just a moment, let us imagine that you can apply only one force to an object. That is, you could choose push the object to the right or you could choose to push it to the left, but not to the left and right at the same time, and also not up and to the right at the same time, and so on. Under these conditions the first law says that if an object is not pushed or pulled upon, its velocity will naturally remain constant. This means that if an object is moving along, untouched by a force of any kind, it will continue to move along in a perfectly straight line at a constant speed. Newton’s second law of motion explains how an object will change velocity if it is pushed or pulled upon. Firstly, this law states that if you do place a force on an object, it will accelerate, i.e., change its velocity, and it will change its velocity in the direction of the force. The th
