Can anyone suggest a good area / hotel to stay in in Brussels?
I visit Brussels for work every two weeks. If I can get in I always opt for the Welcome hotel, http://www.hotelwelcome.com/ It is a fairly small place where each room is named after a country or place – e.g Congo, Tibet, Marrakesh or Silk Road – and decorated accordingly with genuine artifacts. It is a charming 3 star place run by friendly staff who will help you with restaurant bookings and offer advice on all aspects of your trip. It is located in the St Catherine district, 100 yards from the metro with a wide range of restaurants and bars within a short distance and the Grand Place just 10 minutes stroll away.
