Can anyone share exeriences of “living wills” being ignored or not followed by medical personnel?
“Living wills,” health care proxies and powers of attorney are sometimes not honored. Instructions given by agents or representatives are ignored. Our law firm is doing a study of the reasons given by health care providers for acting contrary to patients’ expressed wishes. I would like to hear about,and be able to discuss, cases and causes of non-compliance. Thank you for your help.
