Can anyone recommend fun stuff to do in Brugge?
Pop in to Hema in Steenstraat just past the church if you come from ‘t Zand and stuff your face in their cafetaria (upstairs) for lunch. It does get packed with Belgians but hey, it means the grub is good and not at tourist prices. Don’t drink so can’t reccomend bars and sights are everywhere. Get a map, Brugge is not that big and with a map you can explore the lesser densely packed tourist areas too. Everything within the city gates is easily walkable. Vismarkt (fishmarket) has always been one of my favourites and so is Astridpark. Minnewater is postcard Brugge and Langestraat is where you might find some groove and cool. If it is a clear day do go up the Halletoren on the Market square. The view is amazing and the noise when the bells play even more so.
