well depends — do you want your typical romance genre romance, in which case I’m going to recommend my faves (I only read te historical romances) I love anything by Mary Balogh (she tends to create worlds where you get to know all the people in 19th century high society London) also good is Donna Fletcher who writes mostly scottish/irish historical romance (very much knight in shining armour, damsel in distress) Patricia Potter is like a mix between the two. you get the world aspect where she stays with a particular family (scottish, moving to American west) and Cassie Edwards writes Native American romance. If you want the popular young adult romance (twilight-esque audience) then I would recommend the Mortal Instrument Series by Cassandra Clare, The Gemm Doyle Trilogy by Libba Bray, the Inkheart trilogy by Cornelia Funke, Percy Jackson and the Olympians (I haven’t read it, but heard good things) of course any classic feminist lit, (Jane Austen, The Bronte sisters, Mary Shelley, etc.
