Can anyone recommend any good sites for travel, hotel and car deals?
I like Sidestep the best. I use it every time I travel, both domestically and internationally. You put in your destination, put in the dates you’re traveling, and it tells you which hotel has the cheapest rates and which airline has the cheapest fare. But it goes a step farther. When you enter your origin and destination, it also tells you WHEN the cheapest fare is. Try it. Say you’re going from Los Angeles to New York City–enter the airport codes LAX and LAG, and it will immediately tell you that the cheapest date to go in the next month is the first week of June, at $226. It even highlights the cheapest fare for you. According to Sidestep, they check the rates at 1047 hotels and hostels just in London. Doing a search myself for arrival next week, it looks like you can get hostels in the $25-30 range if you’re looking for the very cheapest option.
