If you’re not already on medication, get it treated by a dermatologist- antibiotic tablets and gels are the usual treatments. If it’s very bad, you may be prescribed ROACCUTANE- It works fantastically well-I’ve been on it 4 or 5 times, as I have severe Rosacea. To cover any remaining redness/broken veins, I use VEIL cover cream & powder (available on prescription). Look on the Net. DERMABLEND is good too. Laser treatment is meant to work, to get rid of redness, but isn’t available on N.H.S. I don’t drink alcohol, and avoid or cut down on things that trigger my Rosacea……… anything containing ginger, chillies, citrus fruits, tomatoes, onions. I also use cool water to wash my face, wear a sunblock (SPF 50) and drink lots of cold water.
