Can anyone recommend a place for an overnight stay at the Jersey shore?
This is high season at the Jersey shore; most decently priced hotels/motels/inns/ will be booked, or at the very least, require a minimum 2 night stay. But, you can probably find exactly what you want in Atlantic City. Because of the casinos, hotel prices are the lowest along the shore, there are some very fine restaurants, and most likely, given the nature of casinos, no minimum night stay. I lived near the Jersey shore most of my life; Atlantic City used to be a real dump, but the last time I was there (about 1 yr ago) I was really pleasantly susrprised. The beach is great, it’s clean and some of the hotels are really quite grand!
