Can anyone recommend a nightclub or dancebar in central London for over 30s.?
Unfortunately there are no dedicated “disco” clubs in Central London as there are in most cities. There is a Reflex bar but it’s in the City (financial district in the east) and not central. There is Strawberry Moons which is on Heddon Street (Off Regent Street) which is cheesy. It’s a late bar rather than a club. There is the School Disco http://www.schooldisco.co.uk/ but it’s only on a Saturday and in Putney. You’d need to wear school uniform to get in too. As for regular clubs I’d recommend Roadhouse www.roadhouse.co.uk it’s not all teenagers and I’ve seen a broad range of ages from 21 to 61 in there. You could also try the Langley (langley street). It’s very grown up and full of architects and arty media types. You could also do worse than chain bar Tiger Tiger in Haymarket. The price of the drinks make sure it’s not a teenage haunt! There is also On Anon in Piccadilly which has lots of different bars inside so you’re sure
