Can anyone recommend a good holiday destination in October?
Canaries is best bet if your on a budget, sunshine almost guaranteed. Would choose one of the following; Tenerife, either Playa de las Americas or Los Cristianos both great for couples more life in Las Americas but less hassle in Los Cristianos. Lanzarote, (Puerto del Carmen) Lanzarotes biggest and most popular resort, good nightlife, lots of activities.Not been there for a few years but last time I went found it to be like Las Americas but on a smaller scale, also much cleaner. Be warned it’s can get a little windy there hence it’s title the windy isle. However this can be refreshing when it gets too hot. Gran Caneria (Play Del Ingles).Second biggest resort in Europe next to Benidorm (At least that’s what the rep said on the bus last time I went). Great for nightlife and shopping, Know to be very popular with the gay community, but don’t let this put you off. Not been to Fuerteventura myself, but told it’s great if your into water-sports and beaches.
