Can anyone recommend a good bug spray for me?
You could try Ortho Home Defense. You can get it at Home Depot or Lowe’s. Make sure you spray a good barrier around the exterior of your home, 1 foot up and 1 foot out. That will help with the spiders. Also make sure you treat any cracks, and if you want you can go around the baseboards on the interior. You should do this at least once a month for 2 to 3 months to really get control of the spiders, since they are after other bugs for food, if you eliminate their food, your home will be less attractive to them. Raid is just a contact killer. It doesn’t last. As for the bee’s, you can’t really controll them. Flying insects can fly over any pesticide barrier you put down. For the flys, you have to find the source and get rid of it. The Ortho should take care of most crawling insects.
