Can anyone reccomend anywhere to stay on Hamilton Island, Oz?
“Budget” isn’t really a term used when staying at Hamilton Island, or any of the Whitsunday islands – but here’s a decent list of accomodation you can find there: http://www.hamiltonisland.com.au/default… Your cheapest option is likely to be to stay on the mainland, Airlie Beach for example, and the money you save can be used to catch boats and be more flexible. You’ll get a much cheaper backpacker or hostel option there, or if you have even more flexibility (e.g.: you’re driving there and will have a car with you) you could drive inland and stay above a pub (fares are normally very low) or try further along the coast and camp for free!
