Can anyone point me to some research on international/cultural differences in DISC profiles please?

There is little in the way of academic research on DISC, MBTI and other proprietary personality tests — mostly because the tests are proprietary and therefore have cost to fully utilize. From my understanding, though, there should be very little difference in an individual’s personality based on where they are. The values in DISC (and MBTI, etc.) are based on the subject’s perceptions, behaviors and beliefs. They will work the same way and look for the same inputs to form decisions regardless of where they live. Having said that, there is research in the psychology and social science fields which is similar to what you are looking for. I have provided a link to one such paper, and you can use the references there to find additional research.
