Can anyone point me to church websites that have successfully implemented Google AdSense?

Churches, synagogues, temples, various religious organizations are always looking for revenue sources. My church has historically sold “ad space” to local merchants (plumbers, dry cleaners, carpenters, etc.) for occasional auctions and/or events. For me it’s only a 21st century concept to not only sell adspace on the Internet but instead provide a Google search tool on our church’s website. We would avoid using contextual ads because than we might get strange results on our website. By the way, our church has no special political agenda. We house a food pantry, a weight loss group, an alcohol abuse group, and others in our church space. In many ways we are a community service center that goes beyond religion. Thanks for everyone’s good feedback (in advance).

*Sadly, we had to bring back ads too. Hopefully more targeted.
