I do just that. Of course I am on the buying end, not the selling end. I would want to have an established relationship with the dealer before I offered such trust. You could also ask for references. Perhaps he has an ebay id that you could check out his feedback. Most online dealers do a lot of buying/selling on ebay. If the value of your cards is minimal, then there isn’t much risk. If the value reaches 4 digits then, I would be weary.
