Can anyone please tell me how to do cool card tricks?
Almost all magic tricks have the possibility of being cool or lame depending on how they are performed. If you’re interested in learning how to do magic, I recommend starting at the library – section 793.8 of the Dewey Decimal system is where you will find books on how to do magic. Top among the books I recommend are any of the Self-Working Card Magic books by Karl Fulves or Mark Wilson’s Complete Course In Magic. Both have great instructions. Wilson’s book has more pictures. The first part of his book is all card stuff, but it also includes coins, ropes, rubber bands, hankerchiefs and building stage illusions. There are web sites with instructions, but many will give you the same freebie tricks as everyone does in order to try to get you to make purchases. That’s not true of all sites, but of many.
