Can anyone please advice on what to do about my migraine headaches ?
Home school is legal in all states and the school is just saying that because for every kid that does not attend they lose government money and they are already losing too much so they like to use scare tactics to try to get people to send their kids back to school. I suggest doing a little unschooling until you can get your health under control. I think your health needs to be the biggest issue here. You have the rest of your life to learn and there should be no problem catching up once you are feeling better. No one can do anything with a migraine. Those school officials are jerks. Please don’t listen to anything they have to say. If you do need some legal help that is pretty cheap you can sign up for the hslda.com. They are The Home school legal Defense Association and they will represent you if the school is to cause any major problems for you. I think this is awful and I am so sorry you are going thru this. I know that these headaches are really hurting you. I would recommend that you go see a chiropractor. Many patients (between 60-80% ) of migraines can be helped by having chiropractic care. Most of the time it will help relieve a migraine already in progress. Many patients know when their migraine is coming on. If they go to the chiropractor, many do not ever reach a migraine status.
